IN HONOR OF MEMORIAL DAY LET US HONOR THOSE OF OUR FAMILY WHO SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES.
This page is a tribute to those in our family that served in WWII. They served their country when called upon. It was a unique time in the history of both our family and that of the entire world. They took an active part in preserving not only the United States but also the first 40 years of development and growth of our family in the US. They stood ready to make the ultimate sacrifice to allow our family the continued growth and existence we have seen for almost 60 years since then.
We were lucky that our family did not suffer any loss of life during the war. Many did not even see action. Raynold Lipsky paid the greatest price of all sacrificing whatever chance he may have had at a normal life. I hope all those who visit loved ones interned at Oakridge will take a moment to visit Ray's grave and remember what he and all those on this page did for us. Least we forget.
