- The Yorktown Jewish Center is a Conservative Synagogue, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Founded in 1952, we are a modern synagogue with traditional values. We boast a diverse and inclusive congregation with members from all walks of life. We welcome families with young children. Education is a primary focus of our community. The Center Nursery School, Religious School, Adult Education, Lecture Series and other programs give our members a well rounded experience in Jewish life.
