Fallacy: Reform Jews don't believe in Zionism and don't support Israel

Answer:

This couldn't be further from the truth. Reform Judaism has its own Zionist organization, ARZA, and is working strongly to support religious pluralism for all Jewish movements in Israel. Although Classical Reform was opposed to Zionism, modern Reform is very strong in its support of the State of Israel. This is made clear in the 1999 Statement of Principles (http://www.ccarnet.org/platforms/principles.html), which says:
