Temple Beth Jacob

Not many religious organizations can claim they are growing today. However, Temple Beth Jacob, in New Hampshire's capital city of Concord, is a growing, vibrant religious community.

December Bar Mitzvah

Please join in the celebration of the Bar Mitzvah of: Samuel Ari Schaffer-Morrison Saturday, December 6, 9:30am

MONTHLY MITZVAH
As some of you may be aware, the homeless shelters and the food pantries in the Concord area are in need of food donations. We are requesting that people bring in nonperishable foods such as rice, canned vegetables, peanut butter, or canned spaghetti, to be distributed. Of course, dish soap, tissues, scouring pads, and other household items are always welcomed.

Please leave your donations in the box under the table in the entryway.

Thank you, Jean Buck for the Mitzvah Girls

All are welcome at Temple Beth Jacob worship and celebrations. Shabbat worship is held every Saturday morning at 9:30 am, and every Friday evening at various times based on the season. A monthly family service led by a religious school class is preceded by a Shabbat dinner during the school year.

Sammy Rotman, a fourth grader, had been battling cancer for the past two years. She was loved for her energy, humor, tenacity, courage and her beautiful spirit. You can learn more about the adventures and challenges Sammy and her family experienced by going to the website sammyrotman.com.

For those who would like to make a donation in Sammy's memory, Shari and David would like it sent to:
CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation Development Offic e

Despite the challenges of a growing Temple, we welcome new families to continue the tradition of the close knit and energetic community we are today.
